The Body as a Fragment
Dohnalová, Tea ; Sobotka, Jiří (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
In my Bachelor Thesis I focused on masks as an authentic imprint of human face. My intention was to verify the possibility of working with specific people in the broadest possible spectrum. My work has both artistic and psychological extent. I work with human identity and its forms within different social roles. This work is time consuming. I make plaster casts of faces of many dozen people. After removing, I get a form from which I cast the final form of masks. I work with a polyester resin that I mix with other materials. This gives me very different structures, colors and the appearance of masks. In this way I try to emphasize the differences of individual people. Every specimen is original, exceptional and inimitable.

The bachelor's thesis discusses the topic of generations in connection with the division of household roles in individual families. The theoretical part defines the family through many definitions, and briefly describes the European family in history, the contemporary family and the traditional family. It also attends to family functions. In the next part of the theoretical definition, the bachelor thesis is dedicated to gender in sociology, individual concepts such as role and status, then gender roles and the traditional arrangement of gender roles in the family. An important section is the division of labor in the household in connection with gender. In the last section in the theoretical part, the thesis deals with the generations themselves, defining them through several different time theories. The generation is also defined through sociological theories, such as according to Karl Mannheim. The empirical part is devoted to qualitative research, which was carried out through semi-structured in-depth interviews according to the principles of grounded theory. The analysis shows intergenerational differences in opinions, household management and division of roles.

Marková, Aneta ; Pospíšilová, Tereza (advisor) ; Frič, Pavol (referee) ; Matulayová, Tatiana (referee)
Volunteering is a phenomenon that appeals to researchers, representatives of international institutions and governments in some countries, as a tool of social policy. Current research shows positive benefits of volunteering for the society but also for volunteers themselves. In this context, a new phenomenon, called inclusive volunteering, is emerging, which emphasizes that volunteering is open to all people in the society. At present, however, this phenomenon is not fully elucidated and researches that examine volunteering from the point of view of volunteers themselves, when considering inklusive volunteering, are very rare. The presented work aims to fill in the missing knowledge and thus contribute to the recognition of the phenomenon of volunteering through research of the previously very little known group of volunteers with a disability. The research sample consists of 27 volunteers with a disability who were interviewed. The interviews were analysed by the Strauss and Corbin's theory.
